Seasonal Tasting Menu @ Le Cirque

It's been awhile since my boyfriend and I have been out on our usual gastronomical adventure. We've both been busy with work/ studying and have recently laid low. But, with all the discounted coupons from Blackboard Eats, Bloomspot, Groupon and Living Social, it was inevitable.

Thanks to Bloomspot's amazing deal, we had an opportunity to dine at Le Cirque to try the seasonal tasting menu for half the price. Despite recent reviews of the place losing its magical touch, I actually enjoyed the meal. The food was clean and savory.











Spanish Mackerel Mi-Cuit (crispy prosciutto, roasted tomatoes, and green olive vinaigrette)

Spring Pea Soup

Marinated Tuna (avocado tapenade, clementines, and sesame tuile)

Wild Striped Bass (artichoke and walnut crumble)

Brioche Crusted Rainbow Trout (broccoli puree and citrus-mustard broth)

Diver Sea Scallops (foie gras sabayon, turnips and diable sauce)

Berkshire Pork Belly (carrot, caraway, and parsley)
Crisp Skinned Chicken Breast (muscat grapes, cauliflower, and ramp aioli)
Sauteed Squab Breast (dates, green beans, polenta and almonds)
Altantico Rum Baba (citrus fruits and chantilly)
Strawberry and Rhubarb Terrine (strawberry consomme, basil, and fromage blanc sorbet)

Chocolate Twist (peppermint parfait, cocoa nib tuile, and mint leaves)
