The Hangover Date

10.10.09 On our third date, we decided to check out another famous brunch destination, Clinton Street Baking Co. Unfortunately, the wait was over an hour and our stomachs weren’t in the mood to wait another second, mostly because he was hungover. So, we walked down a few blocks west to head over to Soho to eat at Caffe Falai. Caffe Falai is a small, quaint restaurant on Lafayette. Despite the busy street, this place makes you feel relaxed with bright lights and white tiles. I had... Mozzarella Oven Baked Eggs, tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil In his hungover state, he had.... Sausage Oven Baked Eggs, tomato sauce, imported Italian Sausage The idea of eggs baked in a pot is brilliant. The egg is still sizzling when it is served, which makes the experience even better. It always reminds me of my mom's home cooked eggs baked with fish roe. Yummy! There are very limited places that offer this experience, so check it out if you are ever shopping in Soho. Toodles!
