The Second Date?

10.4.09 Two days after our first meeting, we decided meet again, just to make sure we were really compatible and not high on Hearth food and wine. Our second date spot was another locally sourced restaurant, Friend of a Farmer, famous brunch location not too far from our 1st date spot. This restaurant always has a long line, so we decided to tackle it on an early Sunday morning. We met at 9:30 am and were immediately sat down, thankfully avoiding the long wait time. When you walk in to the restaurant, it feels like you're in the country. The interior is all wood. The chair, the table, the wall, the stairs...all wood. To add to the homey feel, there are frames and baskets of fruits everywhere in the restaurant. After drooling over the savory omelets next to our table, we ordered two very different omelets. I had... Fresh Spinach & Sauteed Mushroom Omelette, Chamomile Tea He had.... Country Omelette, glass of milk We left feeling satisfied and right at home. Second date...successful.
